Good to Jump is a personal-exploration project. It does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not sell or share any data with third parties.
What we collect
- Anonymous page-view analytics via Google Analytics 4. Records the page URL, referrer, browser user-agent, approximate location (country/region), and aggregate event counts. No personal identifiers.
- Server access logs via the hosting provider (Vercel). Standard request metadata — IP address, timestamp, user-agent — used for security + uptime monitoring. Retained 30 days per Vercel default.
- Browser localStorage for your display preferences (theme, units, card visibility, last-selected DZ). This data lives only in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
What we don't collect
- No user accounts, login, or sign-up.
- No email addresses (unless you message us directly).
- No precise GPS location. Browser geolocation is opt-in only and used to pick a default DZ — never transmitted.
- No cross-site tracking pixels beyond Google Analytics.

Opting out
- To opt out of Google Analytics across the web, install the official browser add-on.
- To clear localStorage prefs, use your browser's site data settings or click the "Reset settings" button in the settings panel (when added).
